Girl Talk encourages leadership and volunteerism in girls through the Girl Talk Jewels Program.
GIRL TALK JEWELS What happens after Girl Talk "Tailoring Teens for Success" curriculum? Graduating girls then become GIRL TALK JEWELS. Girls meet bi-weekly to continue building self-esteem and leadership. Girls coordinate community service events, create fundraisers as well as represent Girl Talk at various community activities including workshops, focus groups, parades and more! Girls meet every FIRST and THIRD Saturday, 10 to 11:30am at UNC-Charlotte, Student Union Building, 9201 University City Blvd., Charlotte. To become a Girl Talk Jewel, girls MUST COMPLETE: - at least 8 sessions of "Tailoring Teens for Success" curriculum
