Girl Talk offers a variety of programs to support its mission and contribute to the lives of young girls.
Tailoring Teens for Success Girl Talk kicked off the first class of "Tailoring Teens for Success" curriculum. Register Online Here or Download Registration Form Girl Talk's "Tailoring Teens for Success" curriculum is an 11-week character bulding program. The program is designed to teach critical thinking, leadership skills and promote positive esteem to 35-40 young girls through a variety of sessions including, but not limited to, self-esteem, anger management, dating violence, etiquette/personal image, relationships and finance.Tailoring Teens for Success curriculum is sponsored in part by:

Curriculum Graduation Girl Talk rewards all program participants for completing the Girl Talk Tailoring Teens for Success curriculum with our signature recognition event "The Girl Talk Graduation Ceremony".
The ceremony, held at an offsite location, includes a special invited keynote speaker, graduation certificates and a life-long keepsake for each graduate that represent the principles of the Girl Talk Foundation, Inc. The event includes food and live entertainment. |

Winter Service ProjectGirl Talk emphasizes community service and volunteerism to all program participants through a Winter Service project. Teen girls in the community are invited to participate in this project designed to improve the quality of life for residents in the Charlotte area. Past Girl Talk service projects include: Women and Children Emergency Shelter Girls served meals to homeless women and children Crisis Assistance Ministry Girls sorted donated clothing items Department of Social Services Girls collected money to provide Christmas gifts for needy families WSOC School Tools Campaign Girls shopped for school supplies to give to needy children

Prom Project Register Now Cost: Free (registration required)
Girls in middle and high school are welcome to PROM PROJECT - Charlotte, SATURDAY, APRIL 10TH, 10AM-2PM at ImaginOn: The Joe & Joan Martin Center, 300 E. Seventh Street, Charlotte. OR Girls in middle and high school are welcome to PROM PROJECT - Rock Hill, SATURDAY, APRIL 17TH, 10AM-2PM at Dinkins Student Center @ Winthrop University, 701 Oakland Avenue, Rock Hill. At the one-day event, girls get to choose their prom dress, shoes and accessories free of charge. As a pre-requisite to shopping, girls also attend an etiquette class that includes hair, skin care by AloeForMocha and make-up tips and fashion advice. The class is designed to provide girls with the skills needed to pull off a totally classy evening. Girl Talk Foundation, Inc. thanks PROM PROJECT sponsor -- Dr. Miracle's for providing our HEALTHY HAIR CARE segment for girls during Prom Project.

Teen Advisory Board
Girl Talk encourages leadership and volunteerism in girls through the Teen Advisory Board. Girls discuss, coordinate and create fundraisers, assist with Girl Talk events as well as represent Girl Talk in various community activities including worshops, focus groups, parades and more. *** New Day and Time*** Girls meet monthly, Every First and Third Tuesday at 6:30pm. Loving My Body Fitness Camp 
Girl Talk wants to reduce the risk of obesity in young girls through the Girl Talk Fitness Camp. Download Registration Form Cost: $50 (entire week) All payments are due by June 15th Our goal is to instill the importance of positive body image through a vigorous one-week fitness program for 40 girls ages 11 to 16. The program focuses on nutrition, exercise, team building and self-esteem building initiatives, drama and dance led by professionally trained facilitators and counselors. The camp, from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, is also designed to educate girls on the importance of healthy living.
