10 Things Dads Should NOT Do To Their Daughters
I've watched my brother raise his daughter (my neice) and sometimes shake my head in amazement as to why he doesn't 'get her.' But, I soon realize I'm not exactly being fair as fathers may not always connect to their 'princesses', just as mothers are sometimes disconnected from their sons. As a strong girl advocate, I watch teen girls grow into whom I hope will be self-respecting and driven young ladies. They grow and mature and if I'm being honest, I sometimes struggle to find the right words to pour into them. I can only imagine how fathers feel.
This article from National Center for Fathering caught my eye and offers some much-needed guidance for dads looking to empower their daughters. And it doesn't have to be complicated.
